Organizational Objectives
Instruments of Peace has three main objectives:
1) to provide dental care to under-served rural communities with comprehensive dental
treatment;
2) to embark on an immediate preventive program including fluoride supplements,
topical fluoride, and sealants; and
3) to provide oral hygiene and nutritional education to families and the community. "
The purpose of the clinic is to respond to the oral health needs of the children of Las Matas. 'Instruments of Peace' is open to children of
all ethnic and religious backgrounds within the ages of birth to sixteen, who are
financially under privileged," primarily those living in the campos (rural areas). (Article
